The Project Brief
When Smiles & More Dentistry approached us, their goal was clear: to elevate their digital presence to reflect the exceptional quality of their services and to expand their reach.
They originally built their brand around an older audience, but with large changes to the dental sector, a large market of younger people opened up. Mosaic sought to build a website that would captivate this audience and help capitalise on this boom.
The Design Phase
With the new brand direction set out, it was the design team who were the spearhead of the project. They needed to take what had already been established and give it a fresh twist appealing to a younger audience.
“The design needed to promote the cosmetic side of dentistry too, without shying away from the main services of the practice.”
We created the interface to be big and bold, we wanted to create something exciting yet serious. It had to say “we’re fresh and cool” whilst saying “we’re serious and professional”.
Even though our primary audience was younger people, we made sure not to neglect other audiences and pre-existing customers. We introduced an easy-to-use booking form along with retaining the email address and contact number.
The Development Phase
A younger audience expects cutting-edge features and an innovative UI. They prefer a process that feels simple and smooth. This was the vision we baked into the site during its development.
“Working on this project was more exciting than your typical dentistry because of it’s modern youthful aesthetic.”
It’s basically a no-brainer at this point to develop sites for mobile and desktop. With mobile taking up 86% web traffic for Smiles & More Dentistry and focus on a younger audience, it was especially important.
We developed back-end functionality to keep track of patient leads and appointment requests, whilst prioritising keeping the sensitive data secure.
The SEO Strategy
To support the new website, we devised a robust marketing campaign. This included a hyper-focused SEO strategy targeting local areas like Warrington, Widnes, and Chester.
“Optimising for Google doesn’t mean getting your website to show up for every search, just the ones that matter.”
We use market analysis to highlight key opportunities and develop SEO and marketing strategies around these to get ahead of the competition and in front of people first.
As such, one of our recent SEO strategies was to leverage the growing shortage of NHS dental services to attract private patients.
“Modernising a dentistry was an exciting twist. To take something often seen as daunting and paint it in a positive light was an entertaining challenge.”

The Results
Three months after the launch of the rebrand, the client reported a 250% increase in leads, with their premium services also being requested more frequently.
This success didn’t just come from treating the client as “just another job”, it was built by the partnership forged between businesses, allowing us to work closely together and to gain in-depth knowledge about their brand.
