Reflect Clinic

Reflect Clinic is the brand name of renowned Manchester-based cosmetic surgeon Mr Gerard Lambe and his team. The clinic specialises in treatments and procedures for the face and body.

The Project Brief

Reflect Clinic approached Mosaic with the goal of refreshing its brand and increasing both the quality and number of leads it was generating.

Our extensive strategy included the development of a new website, SEO marketing, email marketing via Mailchimp, and social media marketing across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.

The Design Phase

During an initial audit of the client’s website, we identified the mobile interface was particularly poor, and with nearly 65% of their website traffic viewing on mobile devices – this became a key area of focus.

Due to the nature of the business, and Reflect Clinic’s ethos, we focused on keeping the design as calming as possible. Underdoing surgery is naturally a stressful situation, so we had to develop an environment that calmed patients’ worries and made them feel safe and confident in choosing cosmetic surgery.

Keeping the experience stress-free was also a vital part of why the user experience on this project was important. Struggling to navigate the site or not being able to find information would add unnecessary worry.

The Development Phase

Though the site didn’t have much in the way of custom functionality, it was important that we developed extra security measures to protect the sensitive patient information.

The development of Reflect Clinic was straightforward. As it was a brochure site, its main purpose was providing in-depth information about each of the procedures in addition to answering any questions a patient may have.

With minimal custom functionality needed, we had additional time to develop the back-end user interface. We added custom options, blocks and pre-designed templates for the client to access and play around with. This allowed them to easily upload their own blogs and add new pages without having to worry about breaking the site.

The Marketing Strategy

We use a brand reach strategy to make people across Facebook, Instagram and TikTok aware of the clinic. Multiple tailored posts per week keep the brand presence alive and the name in peoples minds.

We use social media to promote the brands voice and vision rather than pushing the services they provide. This strategy ensures the clinic fosters its no pressure approach and builds a genuine relationship with its prospective patients.

As a way to further push the brands values online, we use the social platforms to promote safety and share relevant industry news sources, keeping people informed and protected.

The SEO Strategy

The goal was to use SEO tactics and compelling content to drive increased traffic to Better Bed Company’s website and its linked hub. Blogs not only served to entertain and inform but also contribute to domain authority.

One of our primary SEO strategies was to target locations that were in close proximity to the clinic. We prioritised towns surrounding Manchester and places with motorway connections into the city.

By targeting locations outside of the city, we won positions that other clinics were neglecting. We wanted to find the audience that were willing to travel that little bit further to get more senior expertise.

The Results

Reflect Clinic initially seen a slight drop in lead numbers but a significant increase in lead quality. Prior to the redevelopment, the clinic were receiving many calls and enquiries from “time wasters” and were looking to cut this out.

With the new website showing off the clinic off in a more expensive light, it helped trim the weak leads that came through the site, allowing the clinic to focus their efforts on genuine patients.

Over the past two years, we have seen the number of enquiries rise, now reaching 5% more average monthly leads than when we first took the client on; whilst maintaining that important lead quality.
