The Project Brief
Brownlow Furniture sought a website that reflected the intricacy and elegance of its bespoke interiors. Its current website had fallen out of line with its original vision and was left with dead links, misaligned branding, and an inconsistent flow.
Our challenge was to revive the website, building from the original content but giving the design a facelift and revamping the user journey to streamline the experience.
The Design Phase
Our main design priorities were to maintain design consistency throughout each page and revisit the flow to enhance user experience. We needed to portray the luxurious feel of the bespoke craftsmanship and infuse it within the website.
“I wanted a way to really show off their work and stay true to the brand feel, too. I think I captured it well.”
Before the design work started, we took a trip to the showroom and workshop to get a strong feel of what ‘Brownlow Furniture’ meant to the staff behind the name.
Learning about the brand and the culture helped us accentuate the soul of the company and project that through each page of the website.
We approached this by using a clean, modern layout that accentuated their imagery and reinforced their brand identity. Sharp-edged borders throughout the design highlighted the precision of quality carpentry.
The Development Phase
We built the site from the ground up, taking content from the old site and incorporating it into the new design, restructuring the flow of the site as we went.
“The design looked great, but I was most excited about creating a site that actually functioned like it was supposed to.”
Brownlow required a shop feature to showcase and sell furniture pieces to enhance their bespoke designed rooms. This functionality was integrated seamlessly into the site’s design with user experience in mind.
Like always, navigation and responsiveness were also major priorities. The site was optimised to perform on mobile and desktop alike, creating a user-friendly interface that matched the sophistication of their brand.
The SEO Strategy
Brownlow Furniture wanted to reach a wider audience and rank for specific locations and industry key phrases.
“SEO is an important part of getting the right pages in front of the right people.”
Our SEO strategy began with comprehensive keyword research, identifying terms that aligned with their services and target market. This included optimising content for location-based searches.
We also focused on ensuring that SEO enhancements didn’t interfere with the design and functionality of the site. By employing on-page optimisation techniques and improving back-end structures, we can boost visibility while maintaining the site’s polished appearance.
“My favourite thing about Brownlow Furniture is their commitment to quality craftsmanship and their by-hand approach. I think it’s too easy to opt for cheaper machine-made products which takes away the human touch.”

The Results
The redesigned website has elevated Brownlow Furniture’s online presence, providing a platform that reflects their expertise in bespoke interiors and cabinetry.
The cohesive design, user-friendly e-commerce platform, and effective SEO strategy have driven higher engagement, increased conversions, and expanded their reach.
